Programa de Ordenamiento Ecológico Local . Anthropological Research with a camera.
From 2008 to 2015 she worked as a video-ethnographer and editor for a regional planning campaign seeking to confront and resolve environmental, social and political disorder within the territories on the urban periphery of Guadalajara. POEL shared the highlights and concerns between communities with ethnographic films and documentation. These works were used as tools for research, adding transparency and documenting processes of community organizing between several groups, to be able to come up with discussions and solutions. The videos explained critical social issues while still others sought to document the urgency of issues of pollution, poverty and urban design.
